JOB DESCRIPTION: CNC Lathe and Mill MACHINIST
Responsibilities:
Responsible for loading and machining parts, operating controls, setting offsets, and deburring finished parts to conformity requirements
Interprets drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
Measure completed parts for conformity to requirements
Communicate with supervisor, production team, quality department, and other personnel for
priorities, assignments, and to resolve machining or quality issues
Responsible for keeping work area, machine tools, and machine clean and orderly, and perform
basic preventative maintenance of equipment
Maintains continuity between shifts by documenting and / or communicating actions,
irregularities, and continuing needs
Assists and participates in continuous improvements
Ensures work continuity through shop with a sense of urgency based on priority and quality.
Wear all PPE in accordance with LTS, LLC ESOH Manual
We run HAAS and Fanuc controls.
Job Requirements:
2 years minimum experience in manufacturing with CNC Lathes and/or CNC Mills
Must have experience in CNC machining practices, feeds, and speeds
Must have experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environment
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry and their applications
High school diploma or GED

has a profit sharing program that you are eligible for after 1 year of service. Machinists work a 40 hour week starting at 6 AM. Over time is offered when work picks up and may be required.
